More About Me
Before qualifying as a counsellor, I worked mainly as a support worker and also taught English overseas, which was great for learning about different cultures. My practice strives to be inclusive of all communities and people, appreciating and respecting difference, including; abilities, age, class, culture, ethnicity, gender identity, neuro-diversity, race, religion, and sexual orientation. I offer limited low-cost spaces for clients, this is dependent on a client's circumstances and ability to pay. Alongside my private practice, I have worked for over ten years providing counselling support to survivors of sexual violence and other trauma. I also worked for many years as a self-employed trainer and have provided trauma training based on the NHS National Trauma Framework to various customers, including Edinburgh University staff and Scottish Government staff.
