More About Me
Before qualifying as a counsellor, I worked mainly as a support worker and also taught English overseas, which was great for learning about different cultures. My practice strives to be inclusive of all communities and people, for instance clients from black and minority ethnic communities, clients from LGBTQI+ communities, and so on. I offer limited low-cost spaces for clients in exceptional circumstances. Alongside my private practice, I have worked for over ten years providing counselling support to survivors of sexual violence and other trauma.
I also work as a self-employed trainer and provide trauma training based on the NHS National Trauma Framework to various customers, including Edinburgh University staff and Scottish Government staff.
