Counselling Sessions

Counselling sessions are a non-judgemental and confidential space for you to explore thoughts and feelings. I ask you questions and we think about things together. Sessions currently take place over the phone or
online video link.

Somatic Experiencing

Somatic experiencing is a body-oriented trauma technique that I sometimes use in my counselling practise. It aims to release traumatic shock by focusing on what is felt in the body. This can help with trauma but also with stress and anxiety management.

Sex and Relationship Therapy

Sex and Relationship therapy can provide a safe space to look at your sexual wellbeing and the difficulties that you may have with this. This could include exploring your sexual self and vitality; a change in your life affecting your sexual health or identity; healing from sexual trauma; or a treatment for a diagnosis such as vaginismus, erectile or ejaculation difficulties, or difficulty with desire or orgasm.

What to Expect?

You can arrange an initial consultation to talk about what you are looking for if you wish. Counselling is a service for you and it's important that you find the right counsellor for your needs. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. If you decide to have sessions with me, then we would agree to a weekly time slot. In the first few sessions, I may ask you lots of questions to get a sense of how things are for you. We would explore together the difficulties that you are facing, how you feel, and how to cope with them. Counselling is not a quick fix, but a space that is provided to support you to explore how best to move towards a better quality of life.
